A Little Bit About Me My name is Chuck and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm not an "internet guru" and I don't make millions online but I do make a comfortable living as a full time internet marketer. Before I got started I had no knowledge of building websites, no background in marketing or business and no clue what internet marketing even was. So Exactly How Did I Get Started? It all began back in October of 2004. Like many others, I was looking for a way to supplement my income and began researching different opportunities online. I came across something known as affiliate marketing and it peeked my interest so I started surfing for as much information as I could until I had the basic idea of how affiliate marketing worked. So one Sunday afternoon (I remember it vividly) I sat in front of my computer , signed up for an affiliate program that sold DVD copying software, put up a crappy website and began advertising. I set up a campaign towards the end of the night, forgot about it and went to bed ... The next morning I logged into my affiliate account and my jaw hit the floor! I couldn't believe my eyes. The stats page indicated that i made 3 SALES overnight totaling something like $64 bucks. So now I'm ready to quit my day job and watch the money pour in, right? Not Quite .. The next 3 days I had no sales and quickly became discouraged and figured it was a fluke. But the 4th day brought another sale and they basically continued to come in slowly but surely. Over the course of the next year I had some highs and lows & ups and downs. I was consistently making a profit, just not the kind of money I knew I was capable of making. Then came November 16, 2005. That was a critical turning point in my online career because that is the day I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate. I had purchased many ebooks and memberships that were crap prior to that so of course I was hesitant about joining. What impressed me right off the bat was before I even joined, I emailed the owners (Kyle and Carson) with a few questions and they were very prompt and professional with their replies. Immediately upon joining , I knew I had found a gold mine of information and had found exactly what I needed to reach my internet marketing goals. The next significant date in my life was December 12, 2007 .. this is the day I quit my offline job and became a full time internet marketer. I have no regrets and have never looked back !!!
